It seems that prophecies of the coming doom are not exclusive to ancient civilizations. Talks about the likelihood of the coming doomsday have been spreading like wildfire recently. Below is a discussion on the real info on 2012 and Planet X and other theories that depict the coming destruction of the current age.

From the recent discovery of Nostradamus’ Lost Book which contains images of the forthcoming doomsday to the mounting interest on the Maya’s prediction about the end of the current age, no one can seem to deny that cataclysm may peak on the year 2012. Even the highly precise prophetic computer software called the Web-Bot project agrees with these ancient predictions. All these seem to agree that 2012 may spell the end of our age.

There is one prediction though that seems to be found nowhere in these ancient predictions but is receiving a lot of interest – the Planet X theory? And what are the predictions about this so called ‘rogue planet’?

The new age idea of the Planet X originated from Nancy Lieder, the woman who claims to be contacted by extraterrestrial beings living in the start system called the Zeta Reticuli. As a child, she was contacted by the Zetas, the gray aliens, who chose her as the medium of communication between them and us. It was only later that her claims of extraterrestrial beings were merged with those of Zecharia Sitchin’s.

Zecharia Sitchin, meanwhile, proposed through his numerous books the idea that mankind’s civilization began with the help of some extraterrestrial beings. He argues that man’s civilization began with the aid of the Annukis, ancient alien astronauts that lived in the Planet Nibiru According to his interpretations of the Sumerian mythology, Planet Nibiru is a rogue planet that crossed the orbit of the Earth in the past.

While there are no proofs to prove the validity of his claim, many people believe in Sitchin’s theories. Today, some people are so obsessed about the Planet X theory that they have gone as far as naming the recently discovered member of our Solar System, Eris, as Planet Nibiru.

Despite the valid claims of NASA and other experts that contradicted this claim, people remain faithful with the Planet X theory and other Sitchin’s and Leider’s astronomically fallacious theories. And despite the impossible reconciliation between their theories of the creation of the Solar System and the existence of gray terrestrials called Zetas, Planet X fanatics still await the coming collision of the Planet Nibiru with the Earth, which based on these claims will end the world sometime in the future.

Throughout the centuries, not a few people espoused the various doomsday predictions. And they were wrong, every time. What makes the current interest in these claims any different? It’s the fact that every sign, every prediction, every prophecy points to one time period – the 21st century, specifically our age.

This does not suggest however that everything that was predicted may and will unfold. The real info on 2012 and Planet X just don’t reconcile. Perhaps, sometime in the future, Planet Nibiru may prove to be just another loony theory. Still, the possibility of rogue planetary or cosmic body colliding with our planet cannot be dismissed entirely for there are virtually millions and millions of planets out there and any one of them could be a candidate for a collision.
