The Olympics, whether winter or summer, is about the athletes and their stories. Some of the stories can be as inspiring and compelling as the games themselves. Whether a team sport or an individual sport, there is nothing more entertaining than the Winter Olympics.

Remember the US hockey teams’ unlikely defeat of the Soviet team in 1980? It just doesn’t get any better than that and almost every game has a moment or moments like that. Those are the kinds of things that fans live for and want to see. And who knows, if you watch as much as you can, maybe you will even learn the rules for curling. It’s such a weird sport.
